Product description
Once your vehicle is 3 years old you are required by law to have an annual safety check, commonly known as an MOT. You must keep any vehicles driven on the road in a roadworthy condition. The MOT test checks that your vehicle meets road safety and environmental standards.
If the vehicle passes all MOT checks, a VT20 MOT certificate is issued. If the vehicle fails its MOT checks, a VT30 document is issued. Items that aren’t quite a failure, but will require future attention are listed as ‘advisory’ items.
At Sowton MOT’s should your car fails its MOT, we offer half price labour on any repairs, and a FREE retest within 10 working days following the day it originally failed.
An MOT isn’t the same as having your vehicle serviced and doesn’t check its general mechanical condition.
